About Us
Our Services
Metro Women's Care is a free women’s center that provides services, education, and support to our community. If you find yourself looking for confidential and professional care and real options, you have come to the right place. You can count on our professionally trained team to put your needs first. At Metro, you’ll experience kindness, understanding, and genuine care.
We provide care to everyone, regardless of age, gender, income, or immigration status. While we do request a valid ID, a driver’s license is not required to receive services. Your information is always confidential, and we never report anyone’s status. All patients are welcome, including those without insurance or legal documentation.
What to Expect
During your appointment you will meet one-on-one with a patient liaison to review your options, one of our nurses will perform your pregnancy test, and if it is positive, she will perform a health assessment and offer you an ultrasound for the purpose of confirming your pregnancy. Our nurses will offer to educate you on abortion and what to expect.
Our Healthcare History
Metro Women’s Care is licensed under a board-certified, licensed M.D., who approves all of our ultrasounds. Additionally, our licensed professional nurses and nurse sonographers have current licenses and certifications.
Since 1990, we have helped thousands of individuals from Annandale, Alexandria, Springfield, Arlington, serving all of the DMV area (DC, Maryland, and Virginia) with support during an unexpected pregnancy. We provide laboratory-quality pregnancy testing, ultrasound consultation for pregnancy confirmation, and abortion education. As a local, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all of our services are free.
