What if I took the first abortion pill, and I’m having regrets?

First of all, you need to know that there is a reversal agent for the abortion pill. Despite what abortion pill providers might tell you, or ER nurses and doctors, you CAN try and potentially reverse the effects of the abortion pill.
There is an organization that you can reach by calling 1-877-558-0333 and they will connect you with a provider of the reversal medication.
Here’s some data to help calm your fears and help you breathe a little easier.
- The Abortion pill has been successfully reversed by over 5,000 women. There is an actual list of healthy children alive today who were born after a successful reversal.
- There is a 64% success rate for abortion pill reversal. However, timing is important. The earlier you begin the reversal the greater the chance of reversing the effect of the pill.
- Reversal should occur between 24-72 hours after taking the first pill in the regimen.
- Please be aware: staff members of centers who provide the pill have been known to say things like, “Your only option is to take the rest of the pills. If you don't, you'll have a baby born with birth defects.” This is unfounded. Call the reversal hotline for truth.
- You are not alone in this. There are people who want to help you, but we can’t help unless you reach out. Please do not let shame or fear of judgment keep you from getting help.
