Not all at-home pregnancy test results are accurate. There is a chance you took it at the wrong time or incorrectly. Verify your results with our FDA-approved, lab-quality pregnancy tests.

You need an ultrasound to confirm vital pregnancy details and to know what options you qualify for. Get an ultrasound today to know...

  1. How far along in pregnancy you are (gestational age)
  2. Ensure you’re not experiencing a potentially life-threatening ectopic pregnancy (Necessary to know before an abortion)
  3. Rule out miscarriage, which occurs in about 10 to 20% of known pregnancies

The best time to take a pregnancy test is at least one week after your missed period. This gives your body enough time to produce a detectable amount of the pregnancy hormone called hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin). If you take a pregnancy test before your missed period, the test might not be able to detect hCG, and give you a false negative result.

There are serious risks to both types of abortion: surgical and medication abortion (medication abortion may involve the Abortion PIll). The Mayo Clinic shares the risks of surgical abortion:

  • Perforation of the uterus
  • Damage to the cervix
  • Infection
  • Scar tissue on the uterine wall
  • Heavy bleeding
  • Cramping

The Mayo Clinic shares the risks of medication abortion:

  • Incomplete abortion, which may need to be followed by surgical abortion
  • An ongoing pregnancy if the procedure doesn’t work
  • Digestive system discomfort
  • Heavy and prolonged bleeding
  • Infection
  • Fever
