Regret taking the Abortion Pill?

The Abortion Pill (RU-486)

If you have taken just the first pill in a medical abortion with “The Abortion Pill” and have changed your mind, you may be able to reverse the effects if you seek medical assistance immediately. Doctors assisting women with abortion pill reversal may be found HERE or by calling 1-877-558 0333.

What is the Abortion Pill?

“The Abortion Pill” (mifepristone, or RU-486) is the most common medical (non-surgical) abortion procedure, approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in women up to 7 weeks after their last menstrual period (LMP) but commonly used up to 9 weeks LMP and beyond.

How Does It Work?

The procedure usually involves taking two separate drugs (mifepristone and misoprostol) to complete the abortion and may involve multiple office visits.
